There are two judges that score each horse starting with a 70 score from 0 to 5 or -1 to -5 per maneuver designated on the score sheets.  The time is also part of the score.  ARHFA takes 80 points minus the time on the run.  Example: 80 – 5.0 (time on run) = 75points that get added to the two judges scores to get a total composite score on the run.  You can find the heading and heeling scribe sheets on the website under, “Learn”.   All scores are cumulative throughout the go rounds.  We take the top 10 to 20 cumulative high scores to the short go.  The scores remain cumulative in the short go, and the order of go will be ordered from lowest to highest scores.
